Frampton Finds Groove in 4-1 New York Triumph
|
The home crowd had a good time watching the Boston Terriers and New York Empires get after it.
New York Empires starter Nate Frampton turned in a top-notch performance against the Boston Terriers at Queens Field. The result was a win for the Empires, 4-1. The Empires, now 2-0, have been playing some good baseball.
Frampton scattered 6 hits over 9 innings for the Empires. With the win, Frampton goes to 1-0 on the year with 8 strikeouts.
"I liked his command," said New York manager Jason Jung. "Nate was throwing strikes."
