Though he had a stellar game, Ron Paige could not prevent his team, the Philadelphia Quakers, from losing, 6-5, to the New York Knickerbockers. Paige was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs. Philadelphia, with the loss, is 6-13.
