Houston Wins at Home to Take 2-1 Lead in DR
The Houston Drillers got a strong performance from pitcher Bill Switzer, who stymied the San Francisco offense en route to a 4-1 win in Game 3 of the Divisional Round. The Seagulls could never get a bead on the left-handed Switzer, who threw 7.0 innings of 5-hit ball. The Drillers now hold a 2-1 advantage in the best-of-7 series.

Mike Wells helped his team take an early lead with a 2-run home run. It came in the first inning, making the score 2-0, Drillers.

"I found a nice groove out there," said Switzer.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Sam Houston Field in Houston.
