Sisson Blasts Seagulls, Drillers Take Game 6, 5-4
The Houston Drillers and the San Francisco Seagulls will take the Divisional Round to a decisive 7th game. In a must-win situation, the Drillers beat the Seagulls, 5-4, at Sam Houston Field to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Houston center fielder Mark Sisson was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2.

In the bottom of the first inning, the Drillers grabbed the lead when Eddie Ellison rapped a two-out home run. Houston was trailing 1-0, when Ellison hit a 3-run home run off Dennis Fulton to put his team in front, 3-1.

Houston manager Steven Palps commended his team for exhibiting "no shortage of effort."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Sam Houston Field in Houston.
