Baltimore Takes 2-1 Series Lead with Walk-off Win
When the games really matter, the Baltimore Lords put on their best show, beating the Detroit Wolverines by a final score of 8-7. James Pendleton went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2. Baltimore now leads Detroit 2-1 in the best-of-7 affair.

George Kiss was the walk-off hero for Baltimore. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Lords third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Pendleton.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Seton Hill Stadium in Baltimore.
