Lords Clip Seagulls, 4-3, in DR Contest
|
The Baltimore Lords and the San Francisco Seagulls will take the Divisional Round to a decisive 7th game. In a must-win situation, the Lords beat the Seagulls, 4-3, at Seton Hill Stadium to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Baltimore right-hander Dan Valenti had a big role in the win. He threw 7.0 innings of 2-hit ball.
In his 94-pitch effort, Valenti allowed 1 run on 2 hits over 7 innings. He walked 1 and struck out 3.
"Dan was doing a good job pouring in strikes," said Baltimore manager Steve Read.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Seton Hill Stadium in Baltimore.
