Bobcats Capture Close Win
In a tight contest at Lakefront Stadium, the Cleveland Bobcats edged the New York Knickerbockers by the score of 4-3 in 12 innings. Cleveland center fielder Tom Crowell, who blasted 2 home runs, was a key contributor. Cleveland, now 14-5, has gotten their season off to a good start.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 12th. With one out, Crowell hit a fastball from Jose Espinoza for a solo home run. The Bobcats, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Exhilarating win," said Crowell.
