The Baltimore Lords defeated the Boston Terriers, 9-2, in American Baseball League action at Seton Hill Stadium. Baltimore pitcher John Pardoe had a standout performance. The loss lowers the Boston record to 8-12.

James Pendleton went 2-4 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for Baltimore. The former first round draft pick had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off David Juarez. It was his 7th RBI of the season.
