Burros Fall Short, 3-2, at San Diego
|
In a tight contest between the San Diego Captains and the Denver Burros, John Espersen was the determining factor. The San Diego right-hander sparkled in his team's 3-2 win. In 6 innings, Espersen surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 3. He allowed 2 runs. With their winning streak at 4, the Captains have raced to a strong start this season.
