Arndt Leads Los Angeles to 5-0 Win Over Dallas
|
Magic was in the air and on the mound at San Vicente Park, as Jim Arndt held the Dallas Wranglers spellbound in his 5-0 shutout victory. The Los Angeles Pobladores pitcher went the distance, rang up 6 strikeouts, walked 1, and held the Wranglers to 2 hits.
"He just had us in his thrall," Dallas manager William Albrecht said. "We couldn't put anything together against him."
Arndt has gone 3-1 this season with an ERA of 1.67 and 17 strikeouts in 37.2 innings pitched. Other clubs are hitting .175 against him.
