Captains Come Up Short at Milwaukee, 4-3
Milwaukee Municipal Stadium was the site of a competitive game between the San Diego Captains and Milwaukee Dairymen.

The Milwaukee Dairymen knocked off the San Diego Captains, 4-3, in National Baseball League action at Milwaukee Municipal Stadium. Milwaukee pitcher and Columbus, Ohio, native Ollie Aldredge had an outstanding performance. The winner was Aldredge. He threw 7.0 innings of 5-hit ball. The loser was John Espersen.

Champ Arkle had a key at-bat with one out in the bottom of the third for Milwaukee. With runners on 1st and 3rd and the Dairymen leading 3-1, he hit a sacrifice fly.

"Ollie kept his poise and got the job done," said Milwaukee manager Brandon Dudley. "He was outstanding."

The loss drops the Captains to 15-8.
