Bulls Send Los Angeles Home with 4-3 Loss
Despite a great performance by Los Angeles right fielder Jim Brookins, the Kansas City Bulls defeated the Blockbusters by the score of 4-3 at Blockbuster Stadium. Brookins was 2-3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks. Bob Crosby collected his 8th save. At 14-8, the Bulls have played well so far.

Dennis Boggs, the 4th overall pick in the 1972 draft, had a direct impact on the outcome. Boggs contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the first inning to put Kansas City up, 1-0.

"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Los Angeles manager John Trausch said, following the tough loss.
