Drillers Victors, 6-1, at Seattle
|
Houston Drillers starter Francisco Castro pitched a strong game against the Seattle Emeralds at Puget Field, leading the Drillers to victory, 6-1. The win puts Houston at 10-12.
Houston won the game in part because of Jackie Frost. The right fielder ripped a grand slam home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Drillers ahead, 5-1. For the game, Frost had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.
"I executed the game plan," said Castro.
