The Milwaukee Dairymen and Washington Eagles played an entertaining game for Milwaukee Municipal Stadium patrons.

The Milwaukee Dairymen topped the Washington Eagles, 4-3, in National Baseball League action at Milwaukee Municipal Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Milwaukee pitcher and Havre de Grace, Maryland, native John Williams. The loss puts Washington at 1-2.

Angel Gutierrez helped out the Milwaukee cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring double. For the game, the right fielder was 1 for 3 with a double and a walk.

Gutierrez said his team "played with focus."
