Peters Hits 2 home runs in Captains Win
The San Diego Captains grabbed a win, 9-4, over the Cleveland Bobcats at San Diego Sporting Complex. San Diego catcher Earl Peters belted 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The winning pitcher was Ed Payne. His record now stands at 4-0. The left-hander went 6 innings, allowing no runs on 4 hits for the Captains. San Diego is off to a hot start at 16-8.
