Brown Throws 4-Hitter En Route to 8-1 Wranglers Win
|
The Dallas Wranglers beat the Seattle Emeralds, 8-1, at Bluff Park. Starting pitcher Mike Brown was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. The Wranglers have stumbled out of the gate, getting only their 8th win in 24 games.
Brown was effective for Dallas, seldom allowing the Emeralds to square up a pitch. The right-hander tossed 133 pitches over 9 innings. He limited Seattle to just 1 run on 4 hits.
"My gosh almighty, Mike was tremendous," said Dallas manager William Albrecht.
