The Seattle Emeralds got production from their entire lineup in an easy 16-1 win over the Dallas Wranglers. Doing his part was center fielder Dan Arrington. Arrington went 2 for 2 with a double and 3 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The loss drops the Dallas record to a disappointing 8-15.

Charlie Hall had a big 2-run home run for the Emeralds in the bottom of the first inning. With Seattle trailing 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he sized up a changeup from 30-year old left-handed pitcher Dave Young and punished it. The result was his 3rd home run of the season, which put the Emeralds on top, 2-1.

"The effort wasn't good enough," said losing manager William Albrecht.
