The Toronto Hurons downed the Dallas Wranglers, 6-4, at Bluff Park. The Hurons were led by Max Lasseter. Lasseter was 3-4 with 3 singles, while adding 4 RBI. Dallas falls to 11-12.
With the game tied, 4-4, in the top of the seventh, Lasseter had a key at-bat for Toronto. With the bases loaded, Lasseter hit a 2-run single off Art Stager, making the score 6-4, Hurons.
"They had a good approach," Dallas skipper William Albrecht said of the opposition. "Hats off to them."
