The Boston Terriers beat the Twin Cities Northmen, 9-5, at Atlantic Avenue Grounds. Bernie Tudor, in particular, was impressive. He went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3. The loss puts Twin Cities at 15-9.
Lou Ward had a key at-bat with one out in the bottom of the fifth for Boston. With the bases loaded and the Terriers leading 2-1, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Boston manager Phil Palapa.
