Dairymen Drop 7-3 Decision
New York center fielder Wayne Baker was instrumental in helping the Knickerbockers triumph, 7-3, over the Milwaukee Dairymen. Baker went 3-4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The Dairymen fall to 10-13 and continue their lackluster start in 1972.

New York grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Baker hit a 2-run double off Randy Adams. His 4th double of the season put the Knickerbockers out in front, 4-2.

"You need to show up when your number's called," said Baker.
