A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the San Francisco Seagulls and Detroit Wolverines.

The San Francisco Seagulls beat the Detroit Wolverines, 9-3, at Mission Field. The Seagulls got a fine performance from center fielder Bob Russell, who went 4-4 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs. The win puts San Francisco at 17-7.
