The Lords grabbed a win, 5-4, at Seton Hill Stadium, overcoming a fine effort from Toronto pitcher Dan Crumm. Crumm went 7.1 innings and allowed 3 runs. The Hurons fall to 8-15 and continue their uninspiring start to the 1968 season.

Baltimore won the game in the bottom of the 13th inning. With no outs and Steve Reichert on the mound for Toronto, first baseman Armando Landa hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Lords fans to their feet.

"There's no quit in this team," said Lords manager Jordan Wells.
