Led by Dave Tislow, the Boston Terriers downed the Twin Cities Northmen, 5-4. Tislow was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for the Terriers. Boston reliever Tom McAteer picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Rick Lindstrom was saddled with the loss. The loss drops the Northmen to 15-10.

The game was decided with two out in the bottom of the ninth. With Boston trailing 4-3, Tislow jumped on a splitter from fan favorite Rick Lindstrom and hit a 2-run home run to center. With one swing, the Terriers had a walk-off win.

"I was just going up there trying to see good pitches, that was about it," said Tislow.
