Abril Schools Los Angeles in 2-0 New York Triumph

In a low-scoring contest, New York pitcher Danny Abril was marvelous, enabling his team to nab a 2-0 win. Ollie Hundley earned the save for New York, his 2nd. The win gives New York a record of 14-10.
Abril was in the zone all game. He frustrated Los Angeles hitters while giving the Knickerbockers 8.2 innings of quality work. Abril threw 101 pitches, allowing 4 hits and getting 4 punchouts.
New York manager Timothy Widholm called it "a darn good win."
