Cincinnati Sent Home with 4-1 Loss
|
Milwaukee right-hander Andy Campbell pitched his team to victory over the Cincinnati Packers at Roman Arena. The final score was 4-1. The Packers, now 9-17, continue their poor start.
Champ Arkle had a direct impact on the outcome. Arkle contributed a 2-run single in the top of the second inning to put Milwaukee up, 3-0.
"Andy had good stuff. When he did get into a compromising count, he made the most of it," said Milwaukee manager Brandon Dudley.
