Wells goes 3-for-4 to Ignite Emeralds Offense
The 11-7 Seattle win over Chicago was due in large part to Steve Wells. The Emeralds third baseman was 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. Tim McDonald picked up the win with 7.2 innings of work. He allowed 4 runs on 11 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 1. On the season, he is now 1-2.
