Bobcats Win 5-4 Walk-Off
The Cleveland Bobcats outlasted the Los Angeles Blockbusters, 5-4, in 11 innings. Keith MacPherson provided some punch at the plate for Cleveland. He was 2-5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Cleveland reliever Frank Rudin picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Bill Kaiser absorbed the loss. The win brings the Bobcats to 14-11, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs.

Batting in the bottom of the 11th, 24-year old right fielder Alan Romano had a real shot to win the game. Los Angeles pitcher Bill Kaiser was determined not to let it happen. But with one out, Romano hit a run-scoring single. The Bobcats had a walk-off triumph.

Cleveland manager Daniel Mays praised his team's "businesslike approach."
