Generals fans were sent into a frenzy with a walk-off win.

San Francisco got a valiant performance from pitcher Ray Heath, but it wasn't enough to beat the Atlanta Generals. Atlanta won the game, 4-3. Heath threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. The Generals, now 17-7, have been on a roll in the early going.

Atlanta got a knockout punch from Roberto Palacios. The second baseman hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

Palacios attributed the win to his team's "steely resolve."
