Houston rode a fine outing from starter Danny Prentice to victory over the Seattle Emeralds at Sam Houston Field. The final score was 4-2. Seattle drops to 2-1.

Prentice was in the zone all game. He frustrated Seattle hitters while giving the Drillers 9 innings of quality work. Prentice threw 118 pitches, allowing 4 hits and getting 8 punchouts.
