The Pittsburgh Industrials topped the Washington Eagles, 7-2, in National Baseball League action at Monument Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Pittsburgh pitcher Bob Briggs. The winning pitcher was Briggs, now 3-1. He tossed 9 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 4 and fanning 5. The Eagles drop to 8-17 and continue their inconsistent start to the 1975 season.

Pittsburgh won the game in part because of Chip Berry. The shortstop ripped a 3-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Industrials ahead, 5-0. For the game, Berry had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.
