Northmen Topple Empires with Late Rally
Greg Clement was a vital contributor to the 9-6 Twin Cities victory over New York. The Northmen left fielder was 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The win puts Twin Cities at 16-11.

The Empires had been locked in a 6-6 tie with the Northmen going into the bottom of the eighth inning. That changed quickly when the 29-year old center fielder Eddie Hernandez came to the plate. Hernandez hit a run-scoring double on a first pitch fastball from New York hurler Tom Duncan. It was Hernandez's 3rd double of the year.

"It's good to win," Clement told the Twin Cities Chronicle. "I like to have fun doing it."
