Eagles Continue Skid, Thanks to Keough, Industrials
Behind a solid performance from left fielder Don Keough, the Pittsburgh Industrials defeated the Washington Eagles, 9-4. Keough went 2-2 with a home run and 3 walks, while scoring 4 runs for the Industrials. The winning pitcher was Jerry Zaruba. His record now stands at 6-0. The right-hander went 9 innings, allowing 4 runs on 10 hits for the Industrials. The victory makes Pittsburgh 18-9, as the team seeks a return to the playoffs in 1975.

Keith MacPherson went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for Pittsburgh. The 27-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the fourth.
