Guillaume Moret was a major contributor to the 6-3 Denver win over Pittsburgh. The Burros left fielder went 1 for 2 with a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Frank Combs picked up the save for Denver, his 6th of the year. The triumph makes Denver 16-12, as the team begins another long trek toward the playoffs in 1976.

The Burros got a big at-bat from first baseman Alejandro Rebolledo. For the game, Rebolledo went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Denver a 3-2 lead.
