In the 11-4 Baltimore win over Twin Cities, the impact of Tim McNeely was substantial. McNeely went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Getting the save was Efrain Roca, his 1st. The win puts Baltimore at 2-1.

James Pendleton had a big 2-run double for the Lords in the bottom of the second inning. With Baltimore leading 2-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a sinker from Syed Farooqi, who finished 4th in the ABL in ERA with 2.56 in 1971, and swatted a double to left. It was his 1st double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Lords ahead, 4-1.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," McNeely said after the game.
