In a low-scoring tilt between the Twin Cities Northmen and the San Francisco Seagulls, Kim Glanden, who leads the ABL in quality starts with 6, was the difference-maker. The Twin Cities right-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. Rick Lindstrom collected save number 3. The loss drops San Francisco to 15-13.
Had Miguel Preciado not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Preciado hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 2-1, in favor of the Northmen.
"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Preciado.
