Miguel Jimenez, who finished 4th in the ABL in saves with 18 last year, propelled his team to victory over the New York Empires. The final score was 5-3, Boston. The win puts Boston at 2-1.

The Terriers got a big at-bat from catcher Don Bozza. For the game, Bozza was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Boston a 2-0 lead.

"Miguel was the difference maker. He was emotionally under control, had good stuff and makeup," said Boston manager Tim Hageman.
