Bob Underwood led New York to a win over Pittsburgh. The final score was 6-4. Underwood, who is tied for 6th in the NBL in RBI with 19, collected 2 RBI, while going 3 for 5 at the plate. The right fielder also scored 2 times. The loss puts Pittsburgh at 18-12.

Underwood had a game-changing double in the bottom of the eighth. On a 2-1 fastball from Bob Cole, he banged a run-scoring double to right-center, giving the Knickerbockers a 5-4 lead. It was the 7th double of the year for Underwood.

"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," Underwood told the New York Chronicle.
