Baird Silences Philadelphia Bats

At Quakers Stadium, the Philadelphia Quakers and Cleveland Bobcats were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.
Cleveland Bobcats starter Myron Baird turned in a top-notch performance against the Philadelphia Quakers at Quakers Stadium. The result was a win for the Bobcats, 5-0. The win puts Cleveland at 11-19.
Baird allowed no runs on 5 hits over 8 innings for the Bobcats. He walked 1 and struck out 7.
"Myron was throwing free and easy," said Cleveland manager Daniel Mays.
