Fee Excels in 9-5 Houston Win
Houston catcher Charlie Fee was instrumental in helping the Drillers triumph, 9-5, over the Seattle Emeralds. Fee went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Randy Robins got the win, improving to 2-2. He worked 6.2 innings, giving up 2 runs on 4 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 4. Houston is now 14-16.

With Houston trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Fee hit a slider from Rob Banas for a 3-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Drillers ahead, 3-1.

"It's always nice to be on the winning side," Fee told the Houston Observer. "But we take nothing for granted."
