The Milwaukee Dairymen picked up a win at Milwaukee Municipal Stadium, courtesy of Keith Williams. The right-hander helped his team stop the San Diego Captains, 3-2. Earning his 5th save for Milwaukee was Archie Sereni. With the loss, San Diego falls to 20-13.
Had Reggie Bryce not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Bryce hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Dairymen.
"I do my best to contribute," said Bryce.
