Starting pitcher Tom Rockliffe pitched well enough to help the Milwaukee Dairymen beat the St. Louis Explorers, 7-3. Milwaukee goes to 15-17.

Milwaukee took a 4-3 lead on Cliff Bragg's 9th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Bragg hit in the bottom of the eighth, left St. Louis pitcher Rick Morton visibly frustrated.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Rockliffe told the Milwaukee Gazette. "It's as simple as that."
