Bobcats Paste 4-1 Loss on Knickerbockers
|
Tim McDonald pitched a gem to lead Cleveland to victory over the New York Knickerbockers, 4-1. The Bobcats, now 20-10, have been red hot.
Harold Batkin, who is tied for 8th in the NBL in bases on balls with 22, had a direct impact on the outcome. Batkin contributed a 2-run single in the top of the fifth inning to put Cleveland up, 2-0.
"Main thing is I want the team to win," McDonald told a reporter after the game. "Just have to go out there, take care of my job, and give my team a chance to win."
