The Twin Cities Northmen handed the San Francisco Seagulls a loss at Mission Field. The final score was 5-3. Major production was provided by Greg Clement for Twin Cities. In addition to his 1 single and 1 home run, he scored 2 runs and drove in 1. He also added 2 walks. The save was credited to Rick Lindstrom, his 4th. Losses have been few and far between for the Seagulls, now 23-9.

Twin Cities used a well-timed hit by Chris Berman to capture the win. The third baseman socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Northmen ahead, 4-1. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," Berman told the Twin Cities Daily News.
