Terriers Rally Late to Nip Habitants
The Boston Terriers defeated the Montreal Habitants, 4-3, in American Baseball League action at Atlantic Avenue Grounds. Boston pitcher David Juarez had a standout performance. Boston reliever Mack Sutter was the winner. His record is now 1-1. The losing pitcher was Al Johns. The Habitants drop to 11-21, as their fitful start to the 1976 campaign continues.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Boston trailing 3-2, Judson Currie hit a fastball from Al Johns to left-center for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Terriers had a walk-off win.

Currie described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
