Terriers Get 3-0 Win Versus Baltimore
|
John Fredrick pitched well enough to win, but it was not to be. The Baltimore Lords, despite Fredrick's fine outing, dropped a 3-0 decision to the Boston Terriers at Seton Hill Stadium. The save went to Sergio Cisneros, number 1 for him. With the loss, Baltimore is 17-14.
Bob Madaras, who is tied for 9th in the ABL in RBI with 19, had a direct impact on the outcome. Madaras contributed a 2-run single in the top of the fifth inning to put Boston up, 2-0.
Said losing manager Steve Read: "We've got to find a way to push a run across."
