Crabtree Leads Burros to 6-5 Win Over Explorers
The Denver Burros defeated the St. Louis Explorers by the score of 6-5, with the biggest share of the credit going to first baseman John Crabtree. Crabtree was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once for the Burros on the day. Willie Purter got the win, improving to 3-1.
