Traders Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Bluebirds, 3-1
Jose Mojica pitched a gem to lead Chicago to victory over the Brooklyn Bluebirds, 3-1. In 8 innings, Mojica surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 0. He allowed 1 run. Randy Weisenberg, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 1972 draft, earned the save for Chicago.
