Wranglers Down Hurons, 2-0
|
Dallas pitcher Barry Gilmore was good. Really good. He twirled a 6-hit shutout to beat the Toronto Hurons, 2-0. The win elevated the Wranglers to 17-17.
Gilmore yielded no runs on 6 hits over 11 innings for the Wranglers. For the season, Gilmore has a record of 4-0 with 53 strikeouts.
"Really good pitchers have that ability to raise their game when they need to," said Dallas manager William Albrecht.
