Knickerbockers Pull Out Late Win, 4-3
The New York Knickerbockers snuck past the Brooklyn Bluebirds, 4-3, in 11 innings. New York pitcher Ray Schifsky, in particular, had a standout performance. The Knickerbockers, now 4-0, have stormed out of the gates.

Rick Hotz did his part for the Knickerbockers, producing a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fourth inning. For the game, the catcher went 1 for 3.
