Twin Cities Beats New York, 4-2
|
Twin Cities parlayed a decent outing from starter Gerald Gross into a solid win over the New York Empires. The final score was 4-2. The Northmen have an impressive 22-13 record.
Antonio Morales came through with a big-time hit for Twin Cities. The first baseman smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to give his team the lead, 4-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"I pretty much put my pitches where I wanted to," said Gross.
