Lords Pick Up 5-3 Win Against Toronto
|
The Baltimore Lords locked up a win at Seton Hill Stadium, knocking off the Toronto Hurons, 5-3. On the mound for Baltimore was right-hander Larry Diego. He played a major role in the triumph. Leon Fairley got credit for the save for Baltimore. It was his 3rd of the year. Baltimore is now 17-19. Toronto is 18-18.
Woodie Scheideler helped out the Baltimore cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the first baseman drew 1 walk.
"It's a mindset," said Diego. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
