Drillers Rally to Nose Past Atlanta
|
The Houston Drillers snuck past the Atlanta Generals, 4-3, in 10 innings. Houston pitcher Randy Robins, in particular, had a standout performance. The triumph puts Houston at 19-17 for the season.
The Drillers got a clutch hit from right fielder Jackie Frost. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Drillers.
"It was a good effort all around," said Frost.
