A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Cleveland Bobcats and San Diego Captains.

In the 13-1 Cleveland win over San Diego, the impact of Benito Olivas was substantial. Olivas, who is on pace for 228 hits this season, was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Bruce Elsner, the winner, is now 4-0. He struck out 5 and walked 4 over 8 innings, while allowing 1 run on 6 hits.

In the top of the sixth, the Bobcats grabbed the lead when Olivas hit his 3rd home run of the season. The 2-run home run off Jeff Ferguson made it 2-1, Cleveland.
